Playtech and Warner Bros. Sign Exclusive Deal for DC-branded Content

We’ve already used to getting nothing but quality and graphic/thematic variety from Playtech, but their next big project may be the greatest one so far. It sure is the company’s largest ever, multi-year, exclusive branded games content deal and it was signed with Warner Bros. Consumer Products which acted on behalf of DC Entertainment. Officially, blockbuster DC films Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Suicide Squad and Justice League will form a part of an extensive catalogue of Omni-channel casino games to be developed by Playtech. The focus won’t be solely on video slots, though. Instead, the catalogue will include bingo and roulette games, available across multiple channels and devices, in addition to branded online slot machines that are speculated to exceed our expectations.

The partnership between Playtech and Warner Bros. Consumer Products is not exactly news. This announcement may count as an extension to their previous licensing deals that, if we may notice, rounds up nicely their successful cooperation during previous years when such terminal slot games inspired by DC’s 1960’s Batman Classic TV Series, films Man of Steel (2013), Green Lantern (2011), Superman (1978) and Superman II (1980) were produced. For starters, Playtech developed five slot machines based upon the classic Batman television franchise and the series includes Batman & the Joker Jewels, Batman & Catwoman Cash, Batman & the Penguin Prize, Batman & the Batgirl Bonanza, Batman & the Riddler Riches, and Batman & Mr. Freeze Fortune. The movie adaptations followed, and all these products will feature at retail terminals in the UK, Italy, Scandinavian countries like Finland and Norway as well as the newly regulated Romanian market.

In the years to come these beloved slots will be joined with new spectacular releases based on recent blockbuster films from the DC cinematic universe. Expect action-packed, real-money casino games that will offer a wide range of prizes and will all be linked to the DC Super Heroes Progressive Jackpot pool. Imagine the funds increase! Undoubtedly, such an extensive progressive jackpot network will make the games some of the largest payout giants of the industry.

Playtech, as one of the world’s leading software supplier companies, has done terrific job so far conveying their advanced products through the ONE Omni-channel and their IMS player management platform which makes it possible for the customers to access Playtech-powered content anywhere, any time, and on any device through a single account, complemented with smooth application of data-driven business intelligence technology. Playtech’s CEO Mor Weizer stated that games launched in 2016 had strong positive feedback which only stimulates the growth of hope for ‘a wider-reaching exclusive DC film- and TV-branded content’ now officially set in motion by the freshly signed licensing agreement with Warner Bros. According to his words, the DC fandom can expect ‘even more cutting-edge, best-performing DC-branded games’ while Pam Lifford, the president of Warner Bros. Consumer Products, added the new releases will ‘showcase many of DC’s iconic Super Heroes in these immersive, action-packed games’.
