The security staff watched Ben playing and winning with growing suspicion until the verdict had been made. He must have been counting the cards, memorizing what cards have been already dealt out during the game. This is not against the rules but most casinos will not allow players using this technique. Ben is said to earned card-counted a few hundred thousand bucks during the years. He haven’t been entirelly prohibited from the property (aka. 86’d) though, just got a Back Off meaning he is not welcome to play blackjack anymore. So he was left to withdraw to his hotel suite with his wife there. Poor bastard, I almost feel sorry for him.
